Market Masters does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or other personal details directly.
Your game progress (cash, holdings, transaction history, settings) is stored only on your device and is never sent to us.
We use Google AdMob to show optional rewarded ads, and Google Play Billing to process in-app purchases. These third-party services collect some data as described below.
The app fetches publicly available market data (prices and news, the same for every player) from a public hosting service. This request does not include any personal information about you.
Market Masters is developed by Summit UK Apps ("we", "us", "our"), based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the Market Masters mobile app ("the App"), available on Google Play.
The App does not require registration or login. We do not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, or contacts.
Your in-game progress — cash balance, share holdings, transaction history, and app settings (such as music/sound volume) — is stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to us or to any server we control. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, this information is permanently deleted.
The App uses third-party services that may collect data independently of us, as their own data controllers:
Service
Purpose
Data involved
Google AdMob
Shows optional rewarded video ads
Advertising ID, IP address, device information, ad interaction data
Google Play Billing (via Unity IAP)
Processes in-app purchases
Purchase/transaction data, handled by Google Play
We do not receive or store your payment details (card numbers, billing address) — these are handled entirely by Google Play. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google processes this data.
The App fetches the current market prices and news headlines from a public, static data endpoint once per session. This is the same data for every player and does not include, send, or require any information about you personally.
We use the information described above only to:
Display rewarded ads (via AdMob) and let you choose to watch one for an in-game reward.
Process in-app purchases (via Google Play Billing) and unlock the corresponding content.
Run the core game — fetching daily market data and keeping your local save up to date.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for purposes beyond the above.
You can opt out of personalized advertising, or limit ad tracking, through your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization") or via Google's Ads Settings. Opting out will not stop ads from showing, but they will be less tailored to you.
Market Masters is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us using the details below and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
Locally stored game data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not retain server-side copies of your personal game data, because we do not receive any. Data processed by AdMob and Google Play Billing is retained according to Google's own policies.
Because we are based in the UK, UK GDPR governs how any personal data connected to the App is handled. Where Google processes data as described above, you can exercise your rights — including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection — directly with Google via the links above, since Google acts as an independent data controller for that processing.
For anything we hold ourselves (which is limited, since most data never reaches us), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of that data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Google's services (AdMob, Play Billing) may transfer data outside the UK/EEA as part of their global infrastructure. Google provides appropriate safeguards for these transfers under its own data processing terms.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add new features or third-party services. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do.
