Before working with Adam I was in the process of returning from an ACL tear and entering the Division 1 Lacrosse world. If it were not for him I don't think I would be the player I am today. He provided me with specific lacrosse focused training, working on footwork, speed, and agility, all things that are critical on the lacrosse field. He coached me through defensive drills, ladders and reaction time which I noticed specifically improved my positioning and quickness on the field, specifically on the defensive end. Prior to working with Adam my coach told me she didn't think my footwork was good enough to play midfield and after an entire summer and winter break working with him I earned the starting midfielder position this upcoming season. The work Coach Toman puts you through transfers onto the field. Along with the agility and quickness training he brings you through specific weight lifting circuits, that help build speed and overall strength, which is again all crucial components to be successful in lacrosse. We focused on every muscle in your body making you stronger in every aspect. Each workout you end with conditioning, which although brutal at the time helps you gain the endurance needed in Lacrosse. The best thing I got out of working with Coach Toman was gaining the confidence to be the player that I knew I had the potential to be. He was able to bring my abilities to the next level, which I'm excited to show in season. Molly C.
I trained with Adam Toman over the summer of 2017 and when I came back for winter break in 2018. Going into college to play lacrosse, I was very new to lifting and agility training as a whole and the summer before freshman year all I did to prepare was running workouts and shooting drills. What this summer taught me was how much of an impact Strength and Conditioning training had on my game. I came into this fall season stronger and quicker than I had ever been which totally transformed my game as a whole. I was more solid on defense and quicker on offense. The training I did and the amount of progress I made could not have been done without Adam. He pushed me just as hard as I needed to be pushed and held me accountable for every rep I took. I will be forever grateful for the way he has impacted my college lacrosse career. Maeve G.
