The mass media implementation team meets regularly to discuss campaign strategies and implementation. The use of mass media materials (e.g. news articles, radio ads, social media posts) is designed to increase the perception of harm in relation to substance use among youth and adults. When youth and adults are provided with accurate, relevant information regarding subtance use (e.g. marijuana, alcohol, vaping), they are able to make healthier choices. The mass media implementation team is always looking for new members to join and come up with creative ways to promote this information throughout the community.

Due to social distancing requirements, the hot spot mapping group is not currently meeting in person. Please stay tuned for more updates to come!
CTC will be leveraging the new "Healthy Youth Campaign" being released by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) in June 2020.
In the meantime, we are releasing youth radio interviews, social media posts, and various community-wide resources surrounding substance use awareness, community connnectedness, and mental health.
