Q: How much does this program cost?
A: Each session that you go to (typically 2 hours in length) will cost $10. The number of sessions you go to is decided by you during registration. Please note that you will not be allowed to join any programs if there is a lack or delay in payment, so be sure you have followed and read the instructions very carefully on the Google Form! We accept PayPal and Zelle (lxgwqf@gmail.com or +1 (617) 682-0187. All proceeds not used to cover costs will be donated to COVID relief and demonstration costs.
Q: What do you teach?
A: We teach the basics of many different branches of science: physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, mathematics, and earth sciences. You can always learn something, no matter if you are preparing for a science competition, if you are want to make up some missed school material, or if you just want to learn and have a fun time!
Q: How can I learn science better?
This question doesn't have an overarching answer. We believe, however, that a major benefit is being involved and being interested in the topic. Then, you have no bounds on how much of a particular subject you want to learn.
Q: How will the scheduling work?
A: You will receive emails with announcements and updates as well as further information on this website. In addition, you will receive updates via our Google Classroom, the code of which we will send you via email. We ask that you please check your email often (including your spam folder as we have a new email this year!) as that will be the main form of communication we will have with our learners.
Q: Is there only one teacher for each branch of science? Or are there many?
A: All members on the team have some experience and knowledge in multiple subjects. We each, however, have certain areas that we are very strong and well−versed in, which is why we will be explaining and teaching those subjects. The more the merrier!
Q: I have another question that isn't on this list.
A: That's not a question.
Q: What do I do if I have a question that is not listed here?
A: Email or phone us. Links in the About Us.
