Welcome to the webpage of the Summer School in Differential Geometry
"LcK, Sasakian, and Nilmanifolds: Interactions and Perspectives"
This school offers a two-week program (August 17-28, 2026) dedicated to three advanced lecture courses in differential geometry:
Locally conformally Kähler Geometry — Lecturer: Nicolina Istrati
Nilmanifolds — Lecturer: Giovanni Bazzoni
Sasakian Geometry — Lecturer: Antonio De Nicola
These courses are taught by highly experienced lecturers who are active researchers in their respective fields. The structure of the school allows participants not only to deepen their understanding of these subjects—through lectures and daily exercise sessions—but also to gain insight into current research directions and to explore the interactions among these areas.
A final written exam is scheduled. The result will be certified and—according to the regulations of each participant’s home university—may be converted into academic credit points.
Limited financial support for accommodation is available. No financial support is provided for travel expenses.
We look forward to seeing you in Marburg.
