Travel

If there are groups of people arriving at similar times at the same airport, we will try to organize transport to the venue. However, this is not guaranteed, so you should check public transport from your arrival airport.

How to get to Ohrid

By air to Ohrid Airport (17 km from Congress Centre):

Wizzair:

  • Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg: Saturday, 8 July 16:40-19:00 / Saturday, 15 July 19:00- 21:25
  • London Luton: Sunday, 9 July 14:20-18:35 / Sunday, 16 July 19:30-21:45

Taxis are available according to the actual arrivals of flights. A fare from the Ohrid St. Paul The Apostle airport to Ohrid costs approximately 8 EUR (depending on the desired location in Ohrid).

By air to Skopje Airport (210 km from Congress Centre)

Skopje Airport has direct daily flights from / to Belgrade, Istanbul, Ljubljana, Rome, Wien, Zagreb. For more details, check Skopje Airport’s site: skp.airports.com.mk/ Please, avoid too late arrival, unless it is inevitable.

There is an exchange office at the airport, but the rate is rather low. You might also withdraw between 3000 MKD (48 EUR) and 6000 MKD (97 EUR) from the ATM machines at the airport. The commission is 2 EUR, and the rate is 61.5 MKD/EUR.

  1. At the airport, buy the ticket from Vardar Ekspres (175 MKD, you can pay it with Visa, Master, Maestro card) and go to its final destination, Skopje Bus Station.
  2. You can reach OHRID from the Skopje Bus Station using the direct buses. The ride takes approximately 3 hours.
  3. There are shuttles from Ohrid Bus Station to the Congress Centre, for a prize less then 1 EURO. You may also use a taxi.

By car

If you come from Tabanovce / Presevo borders (Serbia), go on the ring road to Tetovo and carry on towards Ohrid. Go straight through Ohrid, and when you leave Ohrid drive 5 km further to the Congress Centre.
