This is a 2-day intensive summer school dedicated to learning selected topics on K-Theory and Quadratic Intersection Theory. The format will be to have 16 participants. Every attendee—whether a PhD student, postdoc, or professor—will prepare and teach exactly one of the topics outlined in the following plan, resulting in a fast-paced schedule of 8 lessons per day.

Participation: Because this is a collaborative reading school, preparing and delivering a lecture is a requirement for attendance. To apply for one of the open slots, please send an email to Alejandro Vicente at kvicente931207@gmail.com with the following information:

Your top 3 topic choices from the seminar plan that you would prefer to teach. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferences, though final topic assignments depend on overall distribution.
Slots are limited to 16 participants total and will be filled based on topic distribution and alignment with the school's goals. Early application is highly encouraged! The deadline is July 10th, 2026.
Location: Universitet i Stavanger, Stavanger, Norway.
Funding: Travel and accommodation are fully covered for all 16 selected speakers through Helge Ruddat's Shape 2030 Fripro grant.
