The at-home Summer Jumpstart program will be open to current students in grades Pre-K to 5.
The at-home Summer Jumpstart program will be open to current students in grades Pre-K to 5.
It will consist of fun reading and math activities that will help students with skills that may have been difficult for them to understand during the school year because of the at-home instruction. In addition, there will also be a few science and social studies discovery activities embedded in the grade-level lessons.

Students will be provided with a hard copy of books in grades PK-2 as well as novels in grades 3-5 that will be theirs to keep. Parents/guardians will be provided a date and time to pick up the materials upon completion of the Interest Application Form.

There will be virtual, pre-recorded lessons and activities released for five summer weeks – June 21, June 28, July 5, July 12, and July 19. These lessons will include parent guides in case they want to complete the lessons sooner.

Participation is optional. However, it is encouraged as students will not only receive instruction in Reading and Math, but will also participate in discovery activities for Science and Social Studies as well as Live Book Talks! This is a wonderful opportunity for them to learn how to use the Google Classroom to the fullest extent.

We will use the email that is provided in the Interest Application to contact you regarding material pickup and location.
Why is there a deadline to register?
Why is there a deadline to register?
In an effort to guarantee enough books and materials for each child, the deadline to register is Friday, April 30 for the Summer Jumpstart 2021. If you register after the deadline, your child will not be guaranteed the necessary books and materials to participate.
