This is not a complete list and it should be tailored to your particular Scout’s needs. This is a guide for scouts camping for one week. Scouts who are staying for two weeks should plan to pack more.
Cloth face covering - you may want to have multiple masks so the same one is not worn each day
Life jacket (not required, but Tesomas has informed us that they will not be able to disinfect all life jackets between uses so if you are not comfortable with this please bring your own)
Class “A” uniform shirt and pants/shorts (this is what the boys wear to weekly meetings)
Class “B” shirt (usually ordered from Tom Fritts)
Rain jacket/pants
Sweatshirt
Jeans/long pants
6 pairs of socks, at least
2 towels (one for bathing and one for swimming) and washcloth
6 changes of underwear, at least
Swimming suit
Pajamas or other sleeping clothes
Tent
Sleeping bag and pillow
Extra pair of shoes (important in case one pair gets wet)
Backpack for daily use as they go around to different merit badge areas
Toiletries (soap, shampoo, comb/brush, toothbrush/paste, etc.)
Flashlight with extra batteries
Scout Handbook in ziploc bag
Pencils/pens and extra paper
Mosquito repellant (NO AEROSOL CANS)
Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
Water Bottle
Spending Money (recommend $20‐50/week) plus any required for merit badges
Optional
Camera
Compass
Pocket knife (sheath knives are NOT allowed at camp)
Fishing equipment
Battery power packs for recharging phones upon departure from camp
Note that electronic devices (ipods, smart phones, etc) are not allowed to be used at camp. If a scout chooses to bring one for the ride to/from camp, the scout is responsible for securing the device at camp for the week.
Troop provides common troop gear, as well as mosquito netting and bamboo poles. No need to bring your own netting.

IF IN DOUBT, KEEP IT AT HOME!
