Staxton Singers: A mixed choir of around 40 members. This year we are celebrating 40 years of singing. Our concert will tell our journey from 1985 to today, singing uplifting four part harmonies, from folk, classical and music theatre to the Beach Boys and the Beatles plus solos and instrumental pieces.
Ian Harper: Coordinator of the Shadows Guitar Club, Ian has performed at numerous venues across the UK and abroad. This evening, he will present a solo performance featuring a wide variety of popular guitar pieces.
Mike Wademan: Well known for his long-standing involvement with local musical theatre groups, Mike is now retired and will be singing a selection of his favourite songs for your entertainment.
Scarborough Community Choir: The choir continues to flourish under its musical director, arranger, and composer, Bill Scott, maintaining its proud tradition as an inclusive, audition-free choir. They perform a diverse range of songs from various styles and genres.
Ricky Knight: Performing solo, he turned professional at the age of sixteen singing with a Cliff Richard tribute & Shadows Club.
The Hackness Ladies Choir: This long-established choir consists of more than thirty ladies from a wide range of backgrounds. Their performance will feature choral songs interspersed with readings and comedy sketches by individual members. Conductor: Ralph Earwicker, Accompanist (Piano): David Wood.
Matthew Jones Green: Matthew is a versatile performer known for his powerful vocals and engaging stage presence. His repertoire spans classical, musical theatre, and contemporary songs. Tonight, he brings a selection of inspiring and uplifting pieces to the stage.
Celebration Singers: An ecumenical choir performing a blend of sacred and popular pieces. Originally an offshoot of the Gala Choir led by Leslie Sturdy, the group is now directed by Eric Hewes—a well-known organist, pianist, and choirmaster, recently retired from St Martin’s Church.
Scarborough Singing for the Brain began in January 2012 and meets every Wednesday afternoon for people living with dementia, along with their carers, family, and friends. Singing helps boost memory, mood, confidence, and relaxation. We enjoy a mix of love songs, musical hits, silly tunes, and rock and roll — all about having fun, sharing laughs, and singing together.

Paul McCann: I started playing the Organ at the age of 10. With frequent visits to Blackpools Tower Ballroom, I became familiar with the sounds of the WurliTzer being played. I started my Organ work in various Churches playing for Hymn's and Festivals.
I play in local hotels and halls for ballroom and sequence dancing and general Music entertainment. I have a yamaha EL-40 in which I used to play ballroom and sequence dancing around my local area
Quenikeith: from Leicestershire and a regular visitor to Westborough and the Summer Concerts, will play an acoustic selection of well-known songs to suit most tastes.
Expect some country, some pop, some gospel, and more, along with a few light-hearted stories. Be ready to join in the singing — song sheets will be provided!
A father-and-daughter singing duo. Mike, known for his involvement in local musical theatre, now performs regularly at care homes and community centres. Amanda Bond, a music teacher, has appeared in numerous local productions, both on stage and in orchestras. Together, they will present a selection of their favourite songs.

A Cappella: This Scarborough-based vocal group of twelve singers performs a wide range of unaccompanied part-songs, ballads, upbeat tunes, and sacred music. Under the direction of Ralph Earwicker, they support contemporary composers with fresh takes on classic works, while also enjoying traditional arrangements. They are committed to raising funds for local charities.

The Hattones’: Vocal harmony group based at Hatton Performing Arts, combining learning vocal techniques with singing for fun. The group enjoy repertoire across genres from classical pieces to pop classics, folk songs to West End hits, and perform regularly in the local area under the direction of musical director Janna Ash.

Victoria Wright: Scarborough-based mezzo-soprano, Victoria has a busy Calander ahead with concerts, singing in Beverly & Hull Minsters. Victoria performs a varied repertoire of opera arias, themes and well known songs from films and musicals

The Dalesmen: Based in the North Yorkshire village of Danby. They sing all kinds of music gaining lasting enjoyment. The choir quite often goes on tour to Europe and North America. They are proud of helping raise money for charities through their concerts. & 5 Star Brass: Are a new brass quintet performing a wide range of music to suit any occasion! Founded in 2017 by their trombone player Tony Turner they have a large repertoire of music under their belts from Duke Ellington to Faure and Irving Berlin and much more.
