This table is made from a solid plank of old milled pine. The legs are alder. The table top theme is mountains and night sky reflection on water. The wave texture is hand chiseled. Shaped 'coasters' made from birch bark mimic planets or stars. Polished pegs from apple branches (part of leg assembly) become added features to the firmament and can double as supports for a glass top if one is desired.
