I completed my Ph.D. in Statistics & Operations Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the USA between 2018-2025. My Ph.D. advisors are Dr. Nilay Tanik Argon, Dr. Shankar Bhamidi, and Dr. Serhan Ziya.
I was awarded the prestigious Cambanis-Hoeffding-Nicholson Award for outstanding performance in my first year, both in terms of the coursework and the Comprehensive Written Exam (CWE). I have also received a High Pass (H, the highest possible grade) in all my Ph.D. coursework. I was also awarded the M. Clinton Miller, III Award (Second place) for my poster presentation at the SRCOS 2022 conference and the Outstanding Poster Presentation Award, 2023 for outstanding poster presentation at the DATAWorks 2023 Conference.
Throughout this period, I have been an Instructor for 8 courses, a Teaching Assistant for 16 courses, and a Research Assistant for three semesters at the same University. I was awarded the Sabyasachi Roy Gold Medal for the best Masters' project. My advisors for this project were Dr. Rajat Subhra Hazra and Dr. Parthanil Roy.
Throughout this period, I was awarded the INSPIRE Scholarship by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

I passed the Higher Secondary Examination (12th standard examination) from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. I studied at Nava Nalanda High School to take this exam.
I ranked 8th among all the students who took this exam from all over the state of West Bengal. I also ranked 2nd in Kolkata. In particular, I scored 100% in Mathematics and Statistics.
I was felicitated by the Chief Minister of West Bengal for my achievements.
I was also bestowed the Nalandaratna title (meaning ”a jewel of Nalanda”) by Nava Nalanda High School.
I passed the Secondary Examination (10th standard examination) from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. I studied at Nava Nalanda High School to take this exam.
In particular, I scored 100% in Mathematics.
