After completing completing a 5-year Integrated BS - MS program in Chemistry at IISER Mohali (India) in 2013, I moved to Germany at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung to pursue a Ph.D in the field of computational chemistry. Since then, I have assessed the effects of small molecules on various disease-related proteins (amyloid-beta, Huntingtin protein) and on protein-protein interactions. For this purpose I use advanced computational methods such as hybrid QM/MM calculations, molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, QM calculations, docking, homology modeling and free energy calculations.
