I retired from Tokyo Institute of Technology (the retirement age of Japanese national university is 65). After October 2024, the new name of Tokyo Institute of Technology is Institute of Science Tokyo. Now I am a visiting researcher of RIKEN AIP, and I would like to continue my research in mathematical science.

My main research achievement is the discovery of algebro-geometric structures in statistical learning theory. I would like to express sincere gratitude to all members of Tokyo Institute of Technology (Now Institute of Science Tokyo). I am proud to have been able to serve as a supervisor of students in doctorial, master, and bachelor courses. As a researcher in RIKEN, I would like to continue my research as I can.
