On Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 4PM, Kevin Murphy, organ, piano, and vocals; Rob Hammerton, vocals and electric bass; Bill Hoke, clarinet; Ciaran Murphy, cello and drums; Tom Gero, guitar; and others will present a Summer Connexions Concert.

The concert will feature selections by that represent an assortment of styles including classical, sacred, and popular. Bill Hoke, Ciaran Murphy, and Kevin Murphy will present the Beethoven Trio opus 11 for clarinet, cello and piano. Kevin Murphy will play three original works for organ. Tom Gero, Rob Hammerton and Kevin Murphy will share a few classic rock selections. The Connexions concerts at Sudbury United Methodist showcase the various talents of church members and guest artists who come to share their music. The concert will take place at Sudbury United Methodist Church, 251 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury, Massachusetts. We will observe COVID protocols of optional masking, distancing, ventilation and open windows. Because we will have fresh air in the sanctuary, kindly dress for a cool afternoon. A reception will follow the concert, thanks to the kind support of the SUMC music and worship commission.

The concert will take place at Sudbury United Methodist Church, 251 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury, Massachusetts. Admission is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken to support the work of the United Methodist Committee on Relief to aid victims of flooding in Vermont this past month.
