Goal: To develop a biorefining process to produce proteins and bioactives from the high protein crop, Red Clover. Protein products will be used in animal trials and other components will be tested for incorporation into nutraceutical products. The purpose is to present an opportunity of producing environmentally friendly plant protein that is likely to transform future food production in the UK and help meet zero emission targets.
