I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dharwad, Karnataka, India. Prior to this, I was a Visiting Faculty at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata. My doctoral thesis, titled "Analysis of a few Quantum Algorithms and Circuits related to Boolean Functions" was completed under the supervision of Prof. Subhamoy Maitra. My research interests include, but are not limited to, quantum algorithms, quantum circuit optimization, and Boolean functions.
Before this, I earned a BS-MS (dual) degree from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal, with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Engineering Science. My Master's dissertation, titled "Uncertainty Principles in Harmonic Analysis" was completed under the supervision of Prof. Saurabh Shrivastava.
I was born and raised in Kolkata, a vibrant city in eastern India known for its rich cultural heritage. I completed my schooling at Ballygunge Government High School, an institution with a distinguished legacy, counting among its alumni the renowned Oscar-winning filmmaker Satyajit Ray.
