Sulu Launcher is built on a Zero-Data architecture. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to external servers.
Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information.
App Usage Data: We do not track which apps you open or how long you spend in them.
2. Local Storage (Device-Only)
All of your preferences, settings, and customizations are stored locally on your Android device using secure system storage (SharedPreferences). This data never leaves your device and includes:
To provide its core functionality as a launcher, Sulu requires the following permissions:
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: Required to identify and display your installed applications in the launcher grid.
Notification Listener Service: Required to visualize incoming notifications as "balloons" in the launcher. Notification content is not recorded, stored, or transmitted; it is only used to create the visual indicator on your home screen.
Usage Stats (Optional): Used only to calculate your "Sulu Blimp" (daily screen time threshold) locally on your device.

Because Sulu stores all data locally, your data's security is tied to the security of your device. We recommend using standard Android security features (fingerprint, PIN, etc.) to protect your environment.
Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
