Pizza Souq (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is dedicated to protecting your personal data. This policy outlines how we collect and use your information to provide a high-quality food ordering and tracking service.

1. Information We Collect

To manage your account and deliver your orders, we collect the following:

• Full Name: Collected during signup to personalize your experience and identify your orders.

• Contact Information: Your Phone Number and Email Address.

• Delivery Details: Your Home/Physical Address for accurate food delivery.

• Authentication Data: We collect credentials through Google Sign-In or through our standard Email and Password signup/login functionality.

• Device Tokens: Unique identifiers (FCM tokens) used to send you real-time order updates.

2. Core App Features & Navigation

The app provides a comprehensive interface for users to browse and manage their food journey:

• Explore & Categories: Users can browse various food categories and discover available items.

• Deals & Products: Detailed views of current food deals, promotional offers, and individual menu products.

• Order Management: A dedicated section to view your order history and current active orders.

• Live Status Tracking: Real-time visibility into the status of your order (e.g., Processing, Out for Delivery, Delivered).

3. Technical Infrastructure (Firebase & Firestore)

• Data Storage: We use Cloud Firestore to securely store your name, address, phone number, and order history.

• Order Processing: Our system manages your "Add to Cart" selections and active Food Deals/Offers through real-time Firestore synchronization.

• Notification System: Using the googleapis_auth library, the app fetches Seller Tokens from our database to send instant push notifications to the restaurant when you place an order.

• Order Tracking: We use Firebase to provide full transparency, showing you every status update from "Processing" to "Delivered."

4. How We Use Your Data

• Fulfillment: Your name, home address, and phone number are shared with the restaurant and delivery riders to complete your order.

• Direct Communication: The app provides a Call Button so you can contact the restaurant directly via your phone's dialer for any special requests.

• Service Improvement: We use your data to manage your account and ensure the app functions correctly across all devices.

5. Account Management & Manual Sign-Out

Important Notice: The Pizza Souq app does not currently feature an in-app menu for profile editing, logging out, or signing out.

• To Sign Out or Delete Your Account: You must send an email to the developer at the address provided below.

• Data Removal: Upon request, we will manually remove your Full Name, address, and account credentials from our Firebase/Firestore databases.

6. Security

We use secure Google Service Account credentials to protect your data during transmission. While we implement industry-standard security measures within the Firebase ecosystem, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Third-Party Services

We utilize Google Firebase for authentication, database hosting, and cloud messaging. These services are governed by Google’s own privacy policies.
