I, Dr. Sultana Bedoura, a Muslimah and an independent researcher striving to live by the principles of Islam. My passion is to contribute to the upliftment of the Muslim ummah through education rooted in ‘ilm, akhlaq, and strong Islamic values.

With experience in academia and industry,

I continue my research in chemistry and textile chemical engineering, publishing papers and book chapters in my areas of expertise. Alongside this, I devote myself to nurturing my children with tarbiyah based on Qur’an and Sunnah.

Earlier I had served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Dyes and Chemicals Engineering under the faculty of Textile Chemical Engineering, Bangladesh University of Textiles.  I had also worked in the department of Biochemistry and Microbiology at North South University as an adjunct faculty. Before that I worked as executive-Technical & Commercial for ZaRa Energy Ltd. and as Executive-Quality Assurance for SAMP Limited. 

My ultimate goal is to serve Allah ﷻ by helping to build an ethically strong, knowledgeable, and Taqwa-driven next generation.

• Environmental sustainability in Textile Industries

• Textile chemical processing, chemical treatment, textile waste treatment and management

• Molecular simulation, computational chemistry, textile chemistry, natural dye, material characterization etc.

• Nanotechnology and biochemical engineering
