I am a PhD candidate in Health Policy and Economics at Stanford University as a Knight Hennessy Scholar and PACS Fellow. I hold an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). My areas of interest are labor and development economics, with a particular focus on issues related to gender, employment, social norms, dignity, and health. I am interested in understanding how digital jobs and technology can help lift the next billion out of poverty. Majority of my research is focused on urban slums and slum redevelopment communities in India.
