At Sugar River Apiaries, we believe in the powers of local honey. Our bees live happy lives along the Sugar River in southern Wisconsin, peacefully collecting pollen and nectar from trees and native wildflowers. This pure, raw honey has not been pasteurized, heated or processed in any way, and therefore contains many valuable benefits. This raw honey is full of minerals, vitamins, enzymes, and powerful antioxidants. It has anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. Pure honey is good for you and the environment!
Enjoy, and bee happy!

Bees are responsible for pollinating one in three bites of food we eat...and they're in trouble! Since the mid-1990s, colonies have been mysteriously collapsing. We are passionate about protecting honey bees and increasing their population. Here’s how you can help:
· Plant a bee friendly garden with native and nectar producing flowers.
· Avoid using toxic pesticides and explore organic lawn and garden care.
· Provide a year-round, clean source of water for bees.
· Support local beekeepers. Honey is the best "green" sweetener you can buy.
· Get to know the honey bee. Honey bees are non-aggressive and amazing.
