About Us

Troop 1845's chartering organization is the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1040 located at 2200 Staffordshire Rd, Missouri City, TX 77489.

Troop 1845 offers high adventure and learning. We enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, climbing, rappelling, zip lining, white water rafting, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, orienteering, horse back riding, mountain biking, and many more.

As of Spring 2024, Troop 1845 proudly boasts 125 Eagle Scouts. With 32 active members, from Scout rank to Eagle, our troop has established patrols for every age group. In 2022, we celebrated our 20th anniversary, marking two decades of dedication, achievements, and growth.

We have many scouts who are active in sports and band, so we have to remain very flexible as a group.
