WHO ARE WE?
Sugared.Bites is one of the small business originally located in University Malaysia Sarawak. It is a business established under the purpose of doing our MPU3222 Foundation of Entrepreneurship Inculturation assignment.
OUR MISSION
Sugared.Bites was established with the purpose of fulfilling consumers' craving for something sweets that are rarely available especially around our UNIMAS. By that, we came with an idea of introducing a trendy desserts these days which is Tanghulu and Churros. Aside from that, we also wanted to share happy moments with our customers by enjoying our products.
OUR VISION
We were imagining that there is no such thing as a "bad day" after having a taste of our delicacies.

At Sugared.bites we introduced you with our first product, mouthwatering tanghulu and our second products Churawrs paired with rich, velvety chocolate dips. The well-prepared and good serving from Sugared.bites ensuring a delightful experience upon receipt for our beloved customers. We are using fresh and high-quality ingredients making our tanghulu and churros to meet our customers' expectations.

The issue in our Tanghulu business is ensuring timely delivery to customers. This is because we face difficulties in fulfilling orders that we received from pre-order in our first-time sales. Therefore, we are taking the initiative to limit our Tanghulu orders for our upcoming sale to ensure we can fulfill orders within the specified time and maintain the quality of our products. Next, we also face challenges in payment processing or changes in customer preferences during the pre-order period for our Tanghulu. As a result, we encounter difficulties in calculating profits for our Tanghulu sales. Therefore, we are taking the initiative to establish efficient communication among our group members and a well-organized system to ensure accurate profit calculations for our Tanghulu. Regarding changes in customer preferences, we are initiating market research to stay updated on trends and adapt our Tanghulu offerings accordingly. We have expanded our Tanghulu sales by introducing strawberry flavored Tanghulu for our upcoming sales, but only in limited quantities to cater to diverse tastes.
Our pre-order churros sales are facing issues with delays in delivery. This is due to the time required for frying the churros, which takes longer than anticipated, causing delays. We are taking the initiative to further reduce the quantity of our orders for upcoming sales to meet customer demand and to make sure our churro's quality meet customer expectations. We are also facing issues in maintaining the quality of our churros due to our slow supply chain. The crispiness and intended taste expected by customers are compromised due to delayed deliveries, causing a decline in the quality of our churros and possibly not meeting our customers' expectations. Therefore, to ensure the preserved quality of our churros throughout the pre-order process until they are handed to customers, we are implementing a phased pick-up system. When the churros are ready, we will contact customers sequentially for their orders to gradually taking their orders ensures that they receive churros that are still crispy and hot.
We choose to exhubut these cheerful themes to attract customers. Joyful postings improve brand image, encourage loyalty, and create strong emotional ties that draw in customers. When shared on social media, they provide an engaging and memorable experience that eventually influences consumers' decisions to buy and boosts sales.
The soft sale method places a high value on empathy, flexibility, and good communication. By prioritizing relationship-building over forceful sales techniques, this approach creates more long-lasting connections. Soft sell abilities support cultural competency which improves a salesperson's overall performance as well as their ability to communicate with others.

Application of AIDCA Model
We released teasers to draw interest a few days before to the product launch. To keep people interested, we pushed these teasers in the main FEB group and posted them on our own Instagram pages. Interest was being generated by the product, tanghulu and churros, which was already trendy. The visually appealing posts piqued buyers' interest in trying the items. We successfully sold the items prior to the formal launch, and encouraging comments were shared on social media to foster consumer trust. The public's decision to purchase led to a well-executed and unexpectedly prosperous initial launch with a large number of orders.

Attending an entrepreneurship's class and started a business for the very first time was meaningful and an amazing experience as I have learned a lot of new things while facing the challenges in managing this small business. We started a business called Sugared Bites which sells desserts such as Tanghulu and Churro. as our main products. This decision was made under the team's agreement. In the journey of doing this business, I learned how to make tanghulu and churros. Aside from making the desserts, I learned about the importance of choosing the right materials and ingredients to be used in order to maintain a good quality of food and safe to be consumed. Doing a business emphasizes a lot about the importance of teamwork as it is a must in order to make the works happen and succeed. Even though I have zero to little knowledge regarding businesses but thanks to this opportunity of starting our own business, I get to experience it.
Despite not being a frequent participant, learning about business and entrepreneurship has been insightful. A deep understanding that goes beyond the surface is necessary for success in this discipline. It instills a great appreciation for its intricacy to realize that not everyone can traverse this path with ease. Business is shown to be more than just transactions, it's a continuous process of learning that calls for flexibility. The outstanding group I collaborate with greatly enriches this experience by turning obstacles into worthwhile endeavors. With their help, the labor is easier to handle and more pleasurable than anticipated. This experience widens my horizons and piques my curiosity in preparing for a career in this exciting subject.

Embarking on the journey of opening business named Sugared Bites with my team was nothing short of transformative. Reflecting on this experience, opening business for the first time is challenging experience, but with challenges become an opportunity to enhance my skills. Emphasizing understanding of Sugared Bites' market, finance and management will strengthen my knowledge. I also learned that communication and leadership skills will develop through interactions with the team from this journey. The initial excitement, collaborative brainstorming and overcoming obstacles together created a new unique learning environment for me.
Overall, this process enriches my business skill and hones personal qualities. From this Sugared Bites journey, it's not just a business but it's a testament to the potential within us when united by a common goal.
Learning entrepreneurship and open a small business was so meaningfull for me. As we opening a business called Sugarbites with my team member has teach me a lot about entrepreneurship and cooperation. In this business, I learn about how to manage modal on purchasing material in low cost but still can make a good quality product which is Tanghulu and Churros as our main product. In running this business, I realize that its not easy to open a business as it requires a lot of effort and knowledge about current situation or trend to promote one product and its not just to earn profit. I get a lot of experience through this Sugarbites business with my team member and its being one of opportunity for me to learn business.
Embarking on my first business which is Sugared Bites venture with new peers at the university was both exhilarating and challenging. The collaborative experience highlighted the importance of effective communication, teamwork, and understanding among team members in order to achieve our Sugared Bites mission,vision and goals. Navigating through initial uncertainties required adaptability and a willingness to learn from each other. As we faced obstacles while doing our tanghulu and churros business , problem-solving skills became paramount, reinforcing the significance of resilience in a business context. Overall, this Sugared Bites journey provided valuable insights into the dynamics of teamwork and the practical application of business concepts in a real-world setting for me to become better person in the future.
