Complaints
If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your cake, please contact me within 24 hours of collection so I can address your concerns as quickly as possible.
To help me investigate any issue, please provide:

A brief description of the problem
Clear photographs of the cake (where relevant)
All complaints are handled fairly and respectfully. I may request that the cake (or remaining portion) be returned for inspection before offering any resolution.
Refunds or partial refunds are issued at my discretion, based on the nature of the issue and supporting evidence provided.
Please note that I cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs once the cake has been collected, transported, or stored outside my care.

Please make sure to schedule your pick up time with me accurately. If you feel that you are going to be later than planned, please contact me as soon as possible. Failure to collect your order on the date and time agreed without contact, will result in your order being sold or raffled to another customer.
On collection of celebration cakes and cupcakes, I am not liable or responsible for the cake(s)/cupcakes once they have left my premises.
Cake boxes must be held from the bottom of the box and not the sides of the box. Your car should be kept cool and the cake(s)/cupcakes should be placed in the footwell or in the boot.
I do everything in my power to provide a well structured cake, but please note that cakes can be very fragile, so you must drive carefully and slowly. Buttercream cakes should be stored in the fridge and away from any heat sources or direct sunlight.
Damaged products cannot be returned and there will be no refunds issued to you for poor cake care.
Sugar Rush Cake company is NOT an allergen free kitchen. I cannot guarantee that my products are free from ingredients that may affect those with food allergies. Therefore, unfortunately, I am unable to acter for anyone with allergies.
I recognise the seriousness of food allergies and I recommend that you contact me before placing an order to inform me of any food allergies that you or your party may have. There are extensive processes in place to minimise the risk of cross contamination, but unfortunately this can not be guaranteed. Therefore, anyone with severe allergies would sadly only be safe by not consuming my products.
All of the 14 main allergens are handled in my kitchen: eggs, dairy (milk), soya, tree nuts, peanuts, cereals containing gluten, celery and celeriac, sesame, sulphites, lupin, mustard, fish, molluscs and crustaceans.
Food Colours - Please be aware that some food colours used in my bakes, may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
Non-edible items - Some of my cakes and bakes may contain decorative elements like flowers, picks, dowels, straws or certain types of toppers that are not meant to be eaten. It is the responsibility of the customer to remove these items before consuming.
For orders over £30.00, a £20.00 deposit will be required to secure your booking. This is no-refundable and will be deducted from the remaining overall balance. This can be paid in cash or via bank transfer.
Ideally, I would request at least 2-3 weeks' notice to be given for the day that you require your order. I will however endeavour, where availability permits, accept short notice orders. In these instances, payment will be required in full to secure your order.

All quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
Please notify me as soon as possible after ordering if you would like to make any alterations to your order.
Any amendments to your order, need to be made 2 weeks before the collection date and cannot always be guaranteed.
Significate amendments may incur an additional cost, and the final balance will be discussed with you and adjusted accordingly.
Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
Gift cards can only be redeemed for products/services offered by Sugar Rush Cake Company.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase other gift cards.
Physical cards are posted within 2-3 working days; delivery times may vary, especially during busy festive periods.
scratch off rewards included with gift cards are one per card and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Lost, stolen or damaged gift cards cannot be replaced.

Customers may also collect gift cards in person and arrange payment by messaging Sugar Rush Cake Company.
In the unfortunate event that you no longer require your order, I ask that you make me aware as soon as possible.
I am happy to transfer the date of the order (if circumstances are out of your control) and that date is available in my diary.
Cancellation Fees:
Cancellations that give over 1 months notice - Deposit only
2-4 weeks notice - Deposit & 20% of the remaining balance
1-2 weeks notice - Deposit & 40% of the remaining balance
I retain the right to cancel a booking in very unusual circumstances beyond my control, such as fire or ill health. I will in this instance, refund any money taken in full.
Although I am happy to accept and view inspiration pictures, I will not copy a design 'like for like'. I will always put my own creative spin on my cakes, making them bespoke and unique!
Every cake is handmade, and slight variations in colour, design or decoration ma occur.
Where specific colours or designs are requested, I'll match them as closely as possible , but exact colour replicas can't be guaranteed due to the nature of edible materials and food colourings.
All photographs taken by Sugar Rush Cake Company of cakes, bakes and related products remain the intellectual property of Sugar Rush Cake Company.
I reserve the right to use these images for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes - including my website, social platforms and printed materials - without additional notice of compensation.
Please note that while I own the rights to all images, I will never share any personal information or images of customers or private events without consent.
If your cake includes a personal photo topper or features someone's likeness, I'll always use direction when deciding to post publicly.
