About SUGAR 🍭
Within the context of internationally collaborative and inter-cultural design projects, the SUGAR Network brings universities, students, and corporate partners together to globally enable responsible innovation through human centricity.
At SUGAR, we connect universities worldwide (5 continents) to deliver excellence in design thinking education, following the SUGAR pedagogy structured in a:
9-months program;
Project-based;
In partnership with worldwide liaisons.
🧑🍳 SUGAR's recipe :
1 project = 2 universities + their student teams + 1 corporate partner.
Who are we? What do we do?
How are students, professors, and corporate partners connected?
Sushi Suzuki, associate professor at the Kyoto Institute of Technology, gives a general introduction to the academic course.
Christine Thong, professor at the Swinburne University and the Design Factory Melbourne, elaborates on the corporate partner role and experience.
Few of our amazing, supporting corporate partners share their motivation, gains, and advice based on their experience gained from being part of a SUGAR project.
Helping Hands 💚
Beyond a network, SUGAR is a movement that keeps its inertia thanks to the energy and commitment from each one of the members that volunteer all year long. By completing very diverse tasks and sharing your skills, you provide the SUGAR community with the best experience possible.
THANK YOU TO EACH ONE OF YOU 👏.
