Key Responsibilities: Research and development on 5G MIMO antennas, horn antennas, dielectric lens, multiband antennas, frequency reconfigurable antennas, and participation in research projects on antenna calibration and EMI/EMC safety standards for wireless devices. Additionally, mentoring several MS students by helping them write research articles and guiding them in mastering simulation software to enhance their antenna design and RF circuit analysis skills.

Teaching Experience:

Key Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant, I assist in the teaching of undergraduate courses such as Electrical Circuit Analysis and Electronic Communication Circuits. My responsibilities include providing support to students during laboratory sessions by troubleshooting technical issues, explaining experimental procedures, and monitoring their progress. I also prepare OrCAD circuit simulation guidelines to help students develop their circuit design skills. Additionally, I am responsible for checking/grading assignments and exams, ensuring that students understand key concepts, and helping them improve their performance throughout the course.
Involvement in Funded Research Project:
Development of measured EMF big data analysis and management platform, Ministry of Science and Information Technology, Government of Korea. Duration: April 2022 ~ Dec. 2026, Grant Amount: 185,000 USD (approximately), My role and contribution: Participant (Help in writing proposal/literature review, currently developing better antenna measurement solutions for small antennas). A study on public health and safety in a complex EMF environment, Ministry of Science and Information Technology, Government of Korea. Duration: Jan 2019 ~ Dec. 2023, Grant Amount: 830,000 USD (approximately), My role and contribution: Participant (Help in writing proposal/literature review, measurement of EMF exposure by different household devices, proposing solutions to avoid EMF exposure by mobile phones). Principal investigator: Prof. Nam Kim.
Development of rapid antenna measurement technique for antennas with new radio technology, Radio Research Agency, Government of Korea. Duration: April 2019 ~ Dec. 2021, Grant Amount: 102,000 USD (approximately), my role and contribution: Participant (Help in writing the final report). This research resulted in the amendment of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standard, CISPR 16-1-6/AMD3/FRAG5 ED1. The process is in its final stages.
