These Terms govern your access to and use of our PDF reader, scanner, document viewer, and file-management application (the “App”). By installing or using the App, you agree to follow these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be legally permitted to use the App and enter into this agreement.
If you are under the legal age of majority, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. User License
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to install and use the App on compatible devices that you own or control.
The App is licensed rather than sold. No ownership rights in its software, design, branding, or technology are transferred to you.
3. Available Functions
The App may provide tools for:
- Opening and reading PDF files.
- Searching and navigating documents.
- Scanning paper pages.
- Organizing or renaming files.
- Saving bookmarks and reading progress.
- Printing, exporting, or sharing documents.
Functions may differ based on device compatibility, operating system, permissions, region, and App version. We may modify or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.
4. User Content
You retain your lawful rights in documents and images processed through the App.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to access, edit, copy, scan, print, or distribute each file. You must not use the App to violate copyright, privacy, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights.
We do not review, approve, or claim ownership of documents merely because they are processed through the App.
5. File Safety and Backups
You are responsible for maintaining backups of important documents and checking the results of file operations.
Before deleting, converting, exporting, printing, or sharing a document, you should verify:
- The correct file has been selected.
- The file is complete and readable.
- The page order and formatting are accurate.
- The destination and recipient are correct.
- A backup exists when the document is important.
We cannot guarantee recovery of files lost through device failure, insufficient storage, user actions, uninstallation, or third-party software.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
- Access or distribute files without authorization.
- Violate intellectual-property, privacy, or confidentiality rights.
- Introduce malware or harmful code.
- Disrupt the App or related technical systems.
- Circumvent security features, advertising controls, or usage restrictions.
- Reverse engineer or extract source code except where permitted by law.
- Sell, rent, sublicense, copy, or redistribute the App.
- Falsely claim ownership of or authority over a document.
We may restrict access to connected features when necessary to address abuse or security risks.
7. Advertisements
The App may contain advertisements supplied by third parties.
We do not guarantee or endorse advertised products, statements, or services. Any transaction or communication between you and an advertiser is governed by the advertiser’s terms and is undertaken at your own discretion.
8. Third-Party Features
The App may interact with printers, Android services, websites, cloud applications, file-sharing tools, or other third-party products.
We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, security, accuracy, or conduct. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by separate terms.
9. Updates and Compatibility
We may issue updates for security, performance, compatibility, legal compliance, or feature improvements.
The App may not support every device, document format, operating-system version, or external service. Certain functions may stop working on outdated or unsupported devices.
10. Intellectual Property
The App and its original source code, interface, graphics, text, branding, and design elements are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable laws.
You may not reproduce or commercially exploit these materials without prior authorization.
Third-party names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Their presence does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
11. Document Accuracy
Document rendering, scanning, text recognition, conversion, compression, or printing may produce errors or formatting differences.
You must independently verify important names, dates, amounts, signatures, form fields, page sequences, and document contents before relying on the output.
The App does not provide legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice.
12. Service Disclaimer
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, compatible with every file, or capable of preserving all formatting, annotations, signatures, and metadata.
Mandatory consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential losses resulting from the App.
This includes loss arising from damaged or deleted documents, incorrect output, device problems, unauthorized access, external services, lost revenue, or missed opportunities.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount required by applicable law.
14. Indemnification
Where legally permitted, you agree to protect us against third-party claims resulting from your unlawful use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
This provision does not apply where prohibited by mandatory consumer law.
15. Ending Your Use
You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time.
We may restrict or discontinue the App or any connected function for security, technical, legal, or operational reasons. Provisions concerning ownership, liability, and user responsibility will continue where their nature requires it.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the App, applicable law, platform requirements, or third-party services.
The current version will be made available through the App or an associated public webpage. If you disagree with a revised version, you should stop using the App.
17. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law without limiting mandatory consumer rights in your country.
You retain the right to contact any court, regulator, or dispute-resolution authority that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
18. Severability
If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited only as necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
These Terms and the applicable Privacy Policy constitute the agreement governing your use of the App.
