President
Joyce Donohue - Mom of a 7th grader. For work, she is an IT Project Manager Consultant. Joyce has been active in the PTA for 7+ years at Sloatsburg Elementary School and Suffern Middle School. Top priorities are fun and educational assemblies for our kids and integration of parents with teachers / school administration.Treasurer
Jennifer Collishaw - Mom of four boys (three previously graduated from Suffern) with the youngest in 7th grade. She loves to play a part in creating a better school community. She has been employed for the last 23 years for Stop & Shop Supermarket. She has held various roles including bookkeeper, billin clerk, front end manager and pricing coordinator.Secretary
Krista Quinn - Mom of a 6th grader at SMS and a 10th grader at SHS. She is an English professor at SUNY Orange Community College. Krista has been active in the PTA for the past 11 years at both SMS and Cherry Lane Elementary. Krista has held many PTA roles, including Secretary and President.Cultural Arts Committee Lead
Sarah Vernola - Mother to an SMS 7th grader and a sophomore at SHS. She has been involved in the PTA since 2015, holding a variety of roles. Prior to holding the Cultural Arts Lead role at SMS, she was a member of the Cultural Arts team at RPC for over four years.Social Media Lead
Allison Tierney - Mom with kids in grades 9th and 7th. She is a higher education technical professional and passionate about educational experiences, academic excellence, athletics and clubs. Member of the PTA since 2016.Spiritwear Lead
Melanie Van Dorn - Mom of a 3rd grader at Montebello, 7th grader at SMS and a 9th grader at SHS. She has been active in the PTA since 2016 in various roles and has serverd on the Board of the Suffern Central PTA Council. Formerly a Business Strategist in Financial Services, now an active stay-at-home mom hoping to contribute to the positive school experiences of our kids.
