I completed my MSc at the University of Northern British Columbia in 2022. During my MSc, I designed a novel paradigm using body ownership illusions (like the rubber hand illusion) to investigate the ways motor information is used as we read words.
In my PhD, I am continuing to investigate questions related to grounding and embodiment. In my dissertation work, I am investigating the ways in which motor simulation can be used automatically and/or deliberately to improve our memory for the locations of objects in the environment.
I am supervised by Dr Stefan Kohler (https://kohlermemorylab.org/) and Dr Ken McRae (https://sites.google.com/site/kenmcraelab)
