If you want a dedicated, safe solution for swimming laps and open-water sessions where your ears must stay completely dry and alert to the water's rhythm, choose Sudroid Bone Conduction Headphones; if you need high-fidelity audio for land-based workouts like running or gym sessions with a compact charging case, choose Jectse Earbuds.
• Sudroid Bone Conduction Headphones: Strength is its IP68 waterproof rating and bone conduction design perfect for submersion; trade-off is the unique open-ear sound profile that sacrifices deep bass for situational awareness. Best for swimmers and runners who need to hear their surroundings.
• Jectse Earbuds: Strength is its ergonomic in-ear fit and 24-hour total battery life via the charging case; trade-off is the lack of full submersion protection (IPX7 only) and no built-in MP3 memory. Best for athletes training on land who prioritize long listening sessions.
The Sudroid Bone Conduction Headphones are engineered specifically for environments where keeping your ears open is non-negotiable. The core technology here is distinct: sound travels through the cheekbones directly to the inner ear rather than vibrating an eardrum. This "Air Conduction Technology" combined with the titanium wraparound headband creates a secure, lightweight fit that weighs just 0.11 kg. For anyone looking for the best neckband headphones for swimming, this design is critical because it eliminates the risk of water trapped inside the ear canal, which can lead to infections or discomfort during long dips.
The build quality screams durability for aquatic sports. With an IP68 waterproof rating, these headphones are not just sweat-proof; they are fully submersible. You can take them into the pool or the ocean without worry. The device features 16GB of internal memory, allowing it to function as a standalone MP3 player even when you leave your phone on the deck. This means you can switch between Bluetooth mode and direct MP3 playback, storing over 4,000 tracks locally. For the swimmer who wants the best rechargeable neckband headphones for swimming, the ability to disconnect from a phone entirely and still play music is a game-changer.
However, this product is not for everyone. If you are a bass-head who expects earth-shattering low-end frequencies from traditional drivers, you might find the audio signature too thin. The open-ear design prioritizes safety and hearing protection over immersive isolation. It is ideal for the runner who needs to hear traffic or the cyclist who needs to hear sirens. But for the audiophile who wants silence from the outside world to focus purely on the track, this open-ear approach might feel too exposed. It is also worth noting that while the Bluetooth 5.0 connection offers a stable 10-meter range, the primary value lies in its standalone MP3 capability and waterproofing, making it a specialized tool rather than a general-purpose consumer headset.

The Jectse Earbuds take a completely different approach, focusing on the traditional in-ear experience optimized for land-based intensity. These earbuds utilize Bluetooth 5.1 technology, which provides a faster and more stable transmission link compared to older standards. This ensures that your music and calls remain crisp without dropouts, supporting protocols like HSP and A2DP for a robust stereo experience. The ergonomic design is crafted to sit securely within the ear canal, making them suitable for reaching new heights in any workout routine, from high-intensity interval training to long-distance jogging.
What sets these apart for the average fitness enthusiast is the battery ecosystem. The included charging case houses a substantial 1200mAh battery, which extends the total usage time to about 24 hours. While the earbuds themselves offer about 4 hours of talking or music time per charge, the case acts as a portable power bank that recharges the buds automatically when stored. This makes them an excellent choice for multi-day trips or marathon training weeks where you do not have daily access to a power outlet. The IPX7 waterproof rating protects against heavy sweat and rain, ensuring they survive the most grueling gym sessions or outdoor runs in wet weather.
That said, there are clear limitations for specific use cases. Furthermore, unlike the Sudroid, these do not have built-in MP3 memory. You must have your phone paired and nearby to play music. If you plan to go for a run without your phone, these will be silent unless you rely on the phone's storage. They are the best neckband headphones for swimming? Absolutely not; they are designed for the gym and the road. They are perfect for someone who wants a compact, high-quality wireless solution that fits easily in a pocket and delivers reliable performance for hours at a time.
