# Sudoku Terms of Use
Effective September 18, 2026 · Sudoku 1.0
## Owner and agreement
Sudoku is owned and operated solely by Azizbek Asadov, an individual developer. Contact [greencoreapps@gmail.com](mailto:greencoreapps@gmail.com) for support or questions about these terms.
These terms govern your use of Sudoku. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using and remove the app. If you are not legally able to agree independently, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use.
## License and ownership
Subject to these terms and Apple's applicable usage rules, you may use Sudoku for personal, non-commercial entertainment on Apple devices you own or control. This permission is limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable except as Apple's rules or applicable law permit.
Azizbek Asadov retains ownership of the app and its original code, design and content. Apple and other rights holders retain ownership of their respective software, services and trademarks. These terms do not claim exclusive ownership of Sudoku's underlying rules or general mathematical ideas.
Do not redistribute or sell the app, remove ownership notices, or copy, modify or reverse engineer it except where applicable law or an applicable license permits. Do not use the app to violate another person's rights or applicable law, interfere with Apple services, or falsify competitive results.
## Gameplay and local progress
Sudoku offers 100 difficulty levels, local saves and statistics. Difficulty is a solver-based estimate; adjacent levels may feel similar and experience varies by player. The app is intended for entertainment and does not promise educational, medical or cognitive outcomes.
Saved games and statistics are stored locally. Device loss, app deletion, storage failure or resetting progress may remove them. Resetting progress is permanent within the app. Manage any device backups through Apple's settings. Game Center does not synchronize or restore your saved puzzles across devices.
The Apple Watch companion has independent local games and statistics. It does not synchronize progress with iPhone or iPad. Optional Siri, Game Center, reminders and Live Activity controls are available through the iPhone/iPad app. Resetting Watch progress affects only the Watch.
The native Apple Vision Pro app also keeps independent local progress. It requires visionOS 26 or later and uses a windowed interface. Optional Game Center, Siri/Shortcuts and reminders depend on system support; Live Activities and haptic feedback are not provided on Vision Pro. No cross-device saved-game synchronization is included.
## Optional Apple services
Core gameplay works offline without an account. Siri, Shortcuts and Game Center are optional and subject to Apple's terms, device compatibility, regional availability, account settings and service availability. Game Center requires internet access. Siri voice recognition and Apple Intelligence availability are controlled by Apple.
If you connect Game Center, eligible local competitive progress is shared with Apple. Only completed games without hints count toward this app's leaderboard and achievements. Turning sharing off stops new uploads, but local reset or deleting the app does not delete records already held by Apple. The developer cannot guarantee uninterrupted Apple services or recover Apple-controlled records.
Optional local reminders and Live Activities depend on device permission, system settings and operating-system availability. Their delivery or display is not guaranteed. Live Activities may show a saved snapshot until the app updates again; the app's saved statistics are the source of recorded play time. You may turn these features off in Settings.
## Privacy and support
The Sudoku Privacy Policy explains local storage, optional Apple services and support correspondence. It is available offline under **Settings → Privacy policy**. Send support requests to greencoreapps@gmail.com. Do not include passwords or information unnecessary for the request.
Version 1.0 contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions or advertisements. Any App Store purchase, billing or refund matters are governed by Apple's applicable terms and your mandatory consumer rights.
## Availability and responsibility
The app may be updated to fix problems or change features. Optional services may change or become unavailable. The app is provided as available, and the developer does not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every future system version.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer disclaims implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury, or any mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
## Ending use and changes
You may stop using the app at any time. A material breach may end the permission granted by these terms, subject to applicable law. Ending use does not automatically delete records held by Apple or support correspondence that must be retained under the Privacy Policy or applicable law.
Changes to these terms will be shown by an updated effective date and made available in the app. Additional notice or agreement will be requested where required by law. Changes do not remove accrued rights or mandatory legal protections.
## Apple distribution terms
For copies obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple's applicable terms and the [Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement](https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also apply unless a valid custom license is supplied through the App Store. These terms supplement those requirements and do not replace mandatory Apple terms or applicable law. Apple is not the provider of support for this app; contact Azizbek Asadov at greencoreapps@gmail.com.
# Sudoku Privacy Policy
Effective September 18, 2026 · Sudoku 1.0
## Owner and contact
Sudoku is owned and operated solely by Azizbek Asadov, an individual developer. For privacy questions or requests, contact [greencoreapps@gmail.com](mailto:greencoreapps@gmail.com).
## Offline gameplay
All puzzles, saved games and local statistics work offline without an account. Sudoku has no advertisements, developer analytics or tracking services. Azizbek Asadov does not receive your saved puzzles or local play history through the app. Optional Game Center and Siri features use Apple services as described below.
The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone or camera. Sudoku does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
## Information stored on your device
Sudoku saves your current puzzle, pencil notes, undo history, elapsed play time, completed and abandoned results, dated play activity, preferences and recent puzzle identifiers locally. These records let you resume your game and view statistics. A previous save is retained for recovery if a file is damaged.
When you enable Game Center, the app also stores your sharing preference and Game Center player identifier locally to avoid sharing history with a different account without reconnecting. Sudoku does not operate its own cloud service. Your operating system may include app data in backups according to your Apple backup settings.
## Apple Watch
The Apple Watch companion stores its own puzzles, notes, undo history and statistics locally on the Watch and works independently offline. Games and statistics do not synchronize between Watch, iPhone or iPad. Game Center, Siri shortcuts, reminder settings and Live Activity controls are provided on supported iPhone/iPad or Vision Pro platforms, not the Watch companion.
On Watch, **Settings → Reset Watch progress** removes the current Watch game, statistics and recovery saves without affecting your iPhone or iPad. The privacy policy and terms are also available offline in Watch Settings.
## Apple Vision Pro
The native visionOS app stores puzzles, preferences and statistics locally on Vision Pro. These records do not synchronize with iPhone, iPad or Watch. Optional Game Center, Siri/Shortcuts and local reminders follow the practices described in this policy. Live Activity controls are not part of the visionOS app.
Sudoku uses the system's standard window and selection controls. It does not request camera, microphone, hand-tracking or environment-sensing permissions, record your surroundings, or collect eye-tracking data.
## Optional Game Center
Connecting Game Center shares this device's highest unassisted completed level and achievement progress with Apple, associated with your Game Center player. Existing eligible local results are included. Your Game Center profile and scores may be visible to other players according to Apple's settings. Game Center requires an Apple account and internet access.
Apple operates Game Center and processes its account and service information under its own terms and [privacy policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). Game Center does not back up or restore your Sudoku puzzles. You can continue playing offline without connecting.
## Siri and Shortcuts
Siri and Shortcuts can open Sudoku, pause or resume your saved game, start a chosen level with replacement confirmation, and read a summary of your completion count, streak and current level. Voice processing and any Apple Intelligence features are managed by Apple and your device settings. Sudoku does not record microphone audio or send prompts to an AI provider.
## Live Activities and play reminders
Live Activities display your current level, remaining cells, play time and session status on the Lock Screen and supported system surfaces. These details may be visible to anyone who can see your screen. You can turn Live Activities off in Sudoku Settings or your device settings. Updates are generated locally; Sudoku does not register for remote Live Activity pushes or send this information to a developer server.
Daily play reminders are off by default. If you choose to enable them, Sudoku asks for notification permission and schedules a local notification at your selected time. The app stores your reminder preference and time on your device. Turning reminders off in Sudoku removes its pending and delivered reminder notifications. Notification presentation also depends on your device's Focus and notification settings. No advertising service or remote notification provider is used.
The app stores whether you have completed or skipped the welcome tour so it does not repeat on every launch. You can replay the tour in Settings.
## Support correspondence
If you email greencoreapps@gmail.com, Azizbek Asadov receives your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. This information is used to respond to you, investigate the issue and meet applicable legal obligations. Please do not send passwords, payment details or other information unnecessary for your request.
Support messages are processed by the email service used for this address, Gmail, under Google's applicable privacy practices. Correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, related follow-up or legal obligations. It is not used for advertising or sold. Where legally required, information may be disclosed to comply with lawful obligations.
## Your choices and retention
Local game records remain on your device until you reset progress or delete the app. **Settings → Reset progress and statistics** removes the current game, play history, statistics and recovery saves. Appearance, gameplay and integration preferences remain. Deleting the app removes its local data; any copies in device backups are managed through your Apple backup settings.
Turning off Game Center sharing stops new uploads. An upload already sent cannot be recalled by the app. Local reset, disabling sharing or deleting Sudoku does not delete records already held by Apple. Manage Apple service information and privacy requests through your Apple account and Apple's privacy controls.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its processing, request portability, withdraw consent where applicable, or complain to a privacy authority. Email greencoreapps@gmail.com to exercise rights concerning information held by Azizbek Asadov. The developer cannot access or remotely delete game data stored only on your device or records controlled by Apple. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable law.
## Children and families
Local gameplay does not require personal information or an account. The developer does not knowingly solicit personal information from children. Parents or guardians should supervise optional Apple services and support messages. If you believe a child has supplied personal information in a support message, contact greencoreapps@gmail.com so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
## Security and changes
The app uses local storage and the device's protections. No storage or communication system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device protected and manage backups through Apple's settings.
Changes to this policy will be reflected in the effective date and the policy available in the app. Where required by law, additional notice or consent will be provided before materially different processing begins.
