Hello! My name is Sudeshna Bhattacharjee. I am broadly interested in probability. More specifically, currently I am focusing on random matrices, last passage percolation, interacting particle systems, directed landscape and some other related models. From 15th February 2026 to 15th August 2026 I am a Senior research associate in probability at School of Mathematics, University of Bristol, working with Professor Márton Balázs, supported by his EPSRC grant 'Particle systems, growth models and their probabilistic structures'.
I did my PhD in Department of Mathematics at Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. My thesis title is "Geodesic geometry in the KPZ universality class and some related problems" (submitted, expected date of graduation: April 2026). My thesis supervisors are Professor Riddhipratim Basu (ICTS-TIFR) and Professor Manjunath Krishnapur (IISc).
