Southern Rail’s bluegrass is high-octane octane exuberant fun with stunning harmonies, irrepressible good humor, and sparkling banjo, guitar, and mandolin. The group has 11 recordings to their credit, one of which (an early Gospel compilation entitled “Glory Train”) was nominated for “Gospel Recording of the Year” by the International Bluegrass Music Association. The band’s founding members, guitarist Jim Muller and bassist Sharon Horovitch, were recently inducted into the RIBA Bluegrass Hall of Fame. The group is rounded out by two talented musicians: banjoist Rich Stillman and mandolinist John Tibert.

An Afternoon with Bach, Schubert, and Brahms on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 3 PM at First Parish Church, 327 Concord Road, Sudbury.
The concert will feature performers from the New England Conservatory of Music. The performance will include Dylan Cohen (viola), Ravani Loushy Kay (violin), Eric Schindler (cello), and August Baik (piano).

Members of the Lincoln Sudbury Civic Orchestra and guest performers present great chamber music including works by Bach, Haydn, Debussy, Martinu, Lister, a brass quintet premier by William Nicholson of Sudbury, and Brazilian Bossa Nova and Samba and more.
The LSCO Chamber Players program was launched in 2024 with great success and positive reviews. The LSCO was founded in 1973 and is the resident community orchestra at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School.

Born in China, Lu Yu began her musical studies at the age of six on violin. She started to play viola as her principal instrument at age twelve at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, China.
Her studies then took her to the Royal Academy of Music in London with a full scholarship where she learned under the tutelage of Matthew Souter for the Bachelor of Music degree. Ms. Yu then studied with Marcus Thompson at the New England Conservatory in Boston where she received her Master of Music degree. Among her numerous awards, she was granted “The Young Musician of 2008” in Hong Kong.
Her performance career has led to being the founding violist of the Loki String Quartet which is in residence at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Ms. Yu is also principal violist of the Boston Civic Symphony, performs with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, was recently co-principal viola of the Missouri Symphony and frequently performs with many of the ensembles around the Boston area.

Celebrating 20+ years of music-making and camaraderie, None of the Above (NOTA) is an a cappella octet who loves to perform a diverse repertoire of catchy pop tunes, finger snapping jazz standards, familiar folk songs, uplifting spirituals, and non traditional academic pieces.
Rehearsing in the Metrowest area, NOTA has performed all over New England at coffeehouses, libraries, churches and other aca-friendly performance spaces.
Past highlights have included being selected as one of the top 8 finalists on the inaugural season of WGBH’s (Boston PBS) TV series “Sing That Thing!”, being featured on WERS-FM’s (Emerson College radio) All A Cappella Show during their live music week, eight years as the ensemble artist in residence at Unitarian Universalist of Wellesley Hills, and a frequent guest at the Battle of the Blends in Lewiston ME.

Born and raised in Borrisokane, County Tipperary, Ireland, Áine Minogue is an award-winning harpist, singer, arranger and composer who has entertained Presidents and Prime Ministers and traveled extensively to perform at concerts across the United States and around the world.
With a dozen solo album recordings to her credit, Áine has been nominated for several awards for her work as a record producer. Her music, in varying styles including Celtic, World, Folk, Spiritual and acoustic, has appeared on compilations for industry labels such as BMG, Decca, Universal, Sony, Virgin Records, Windham Hill and Putumayo. Many of these albums have topped Billboard Magazine’s World, New Age and Classical Charts for months at a time. In addition, she has completed extensive soundtrack work for PBS, NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, and MTV. You can find her music on all major streaming services.
