• April 6, 2025: We have Organized a Satellite Workshop (Mapping Brain-Body-Behavior Signal Dynamics in Human Speech Production and Interaction) at ICASSP 2025, India.

• March 24, 2025: Gave a talk on "Speech-based Bio-markers for Human Health", at Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, USC Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California, USA.

• January 31, 2025: Serving as an Area Chair for INTERSPEECH 2025.

• January 13, 2025: Awarded the Dubai Future Foundation grant to lead the KAMAL Health project (Knowledge-Augmented Multi-Modal Arabic LLMs for Healthcare) with Co-PI Prof. Shrikanth Narayanan.

• January 10, 2025: Farhad Javanmardi successfully finished his doctoral thesis for the degree of Doctor of Science (Technology) on "Automatic Classification of Voice Disorders and Phonation Types from Speech Signals. Congratulations Farhad 🎉!!
