Dr. Sudakar Padmanaban is a Ramanujan Fellow in the Department of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. His research bridges the gap between environmental sustainability and chemical innovation by transforming waste materials and pollutants into value-added compounds. By designing sophisticated biomimetic catalysts, including both homogeneous and heterogeneous systems, he aims to replace linear chemistry approaches with efficient, circular, and sustainable chemical processes.
