Kargil Vijay Diwas, named after the successful Operation Vijay, is celebrated in India on 26 July. On this date in 1999, India successfully took command of the high outposts which had been lost to Pakistan. The Kargil war was fought for more than 60 days, ended on 26 July and resulted in loss of life on both the sides. The war ended with India regaining control of all the previously held territory, hence re-establishing the status quo ante bellum. Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on 26 July every year in honour of the Kargil War's Heroes. This day is celebrated in the Kargil–Dras sector and the national capital New Delhi, where the Prime Minister of India pays homage to the soldiers at Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate every year. Functions are also organized all over the country to commemorate the contributions of the armed forces.

Mobilization of society
Education is a national agenda and is the catalytic tool that can transform the future of children.
National Education Policy 2019 has proposed the revision and revamping of all aspects of the education structure, including its regulation and governance, to create system that is associated with the self-improving goals of 21stcentury in education. As school is a part of the society, parent and other stakeholder play an important role in school functioning. Collaboration with parents and other key local stakeholders, teachers will are now actively involved in the governance of schools or school complexes, by being included as members of School Management Committees he aim of the school complex will be to: a) Build vibrant communities of teachers, school leaders, and other supporting staff; b) Better integrate education across all school levels, from early childhood education through Grade 12, as well as vocational and adult education; c) Share key material resources such as libraries, science laboratories and equipment, computer labs, Sports facilities and equipment, as well as human resources such as social workers, counselors, and specialized subject teachers - including teachers for music, art, languages, and physical education - across schools in the complex; and d) Develop a critical mass of teachers, students, supporting staff, as well as equipment, infrastructure, etc.- resulting in greater resource efficiency and more effective functioning, coordination, leadership, governance, and management of schools in the schooling system.
The School Management Committee shall perform the following functions, namely: (a) Monitor the working of the school; (b) Prepare and recommend school development plan; Provided that the School Management Committee constituted under sub-section (1) in respect of a school established and administered by minority whether based on religion or language; and all other aided schools as defined in sub-section (ii) of clause (n) of section 2 shall perform advisory function only. (9)parents of school children, (2) student, and the community (local member educationist/psychologists). • The membership of the SMC could also include local people with expertise in relevant areas of school functioning, and those with exemplary public spirit. According to 2019 Act this will substantially increase the engagement of the SMC with the school. • Alumni of the school have greatest involvement in the school and they will try to solve students problem and ready to fulfill all needs of students so they should also become part of SMC which helps to strengthen School governance. • For to solve grievances IT based platform will be formed which is easily accessible through mobile devices, which will accelerate issues to higher authorities and provide a public scrutiny to solve problem. • Though teachers are involved in this mechanisms but to develop a sense of deep ownership.

The invited Author was child writer Anubha Sagar, class 9th student of Army Public School, Pune focused on " pleasure of writing" aspect. 8. CHARACTER VISIT FROM STORY BOOK: Our special guests for Literacy Week have arrived at KVSC Library’s Special Program” Character Visit" – Clifford, Thea Stilton and Geronimo Stilton. They were introduced at the special assembly this morning and visited each of the classrooms to read books with the students. Such type of events organized with help of scholastic Pvt. Ltd. and planned Character visit to Primary classes and to the Book Fair, which has attracted my tiny tot user’s crowd to the Library. We had given surprise visit to their classes. The students Dropped Everything And Read on the scheduled date and time. Beautiful thoughts and expressions about books and reading were written on the ‘Graffiti Walls’ by different range of readers. The students also participated in Special Assembly Programme from Primary and Secondary classes.

Literary Competitions and Events
Special child and music therapy: Using Music therapy, special child has improved a lot in academics and overall. Given assignment to prepare a song and made practice of his performance during Library period and special assembly program. He has performed Fiiler item on annual day of the school and secured first position in Poem recitation during Hindi Fortnight Celebration.
