Covenant Business Academy is a free, 7-module entrepreneurship course designed for immigrant and minority entrepreneurs ready to turn their ideas into sustainable businesses. Led by Dr. Joy Tekobo — a pharmacist, entrepreneur, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses alum, and founder of Covenant Health Pharmacy — every lesson is grounded in real-world experience, not theory. This course was formerly a paid program. It is now completely free on YouTube — because access to quality business education should never be determined by your budget. 

For many, a healthcare career feels out of reach and too far from where they are today. The SBO Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Program was built to change that perception permanently.

Approved by the U.S. Department of Labor, this registered apprenticeship program takes participants from a GED or high school diploma all the way through preparation for the PTCB — the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board national examination — the gold standard credential in the field. This is an earn-while-you-learn model. Participants gain hands-on pharmacy experience alongside structured instruction, becoming fully work-ready and nationally credentialed without college debt.

Certified pharmacy technicians work in hospitals, retail pharmacies, long-term care facilities, and specialty settings. Certification opens doors to advancement, increased earning potential, and a stable, growing career in healthcare.
