Let me help you write your success story! Confidence is key to unlocking every student’s potential. In my experience, every student is unique, and I personalize my approach, tailoring our work together to fit their needs. I enjoy getting to know each and every student I work with, hearing about their interests, and helping them find their voice and their superpowers.
Having served in a variety of roles over the years, I draw on my cross-disciplinary skill set and network to help students reach their full potential – by supporting them as they identify colleges that are a perfect match for them, where their continued education will lead to new and exciting opportunities; and by providing academic support for students throughout their educational journey.
I graduated with a BS in Chemistry from Yale University, hold an MS in Chemical Engineering from UCLA, an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA, and the Graduate Certificate in College Counseling, with Distinction, from UCLA Extension. I’m an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), and a Member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC). In the past, I’ve worked in the pharmaceutical industry in research, marketing, and strategic planning; managed an annual $2M fundraising campaign; and served on a parish finance advisory council and the University of California, Davis parent advisory council. Access to education and healthcare are issues I care deeply about. I’m currently a volunteer counselor with the Matchlighters Scholars Program, and a member of the organizing committee for a local non-profit’s annual 5K major fundraiser, recruiting and managing a corps of volunteers for an event that supports dental and mental health care for low income children and families.
I live in the Palos Verdes Peninsula area of Los Angeles County. When I’m not traveling to visit my grown children, I indulge my creative self through visual and textile arts, poetic colophons, and dance-based movement.
