Subtiq respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Subtiq mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Subtiq does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.

The app does not require:

• Account registration

• Email address

• Name or contact information

• Location

• Camera or microphone access

• Contacts

• Advertising ID

• Analytics or tracking data

2. Offline Processing

Subtiq is designed to work entirely offline.

Subtitle files selected by the user are processed locally on the device for features such as:

• Subtitle format conversion

• Subtitle cleaning

• Timing synchronization

• Subtitle repair

• Validation

• Quality and readability analysis

Your subtitle files are not uploaded to any server and are not transmitted outside your device.

3. File Access

Subtiq uses the Android Storage Access Framework (SAF) to allow you to select subtitle files and choose where processed files should be saved.

The app only accesses files or folders that you explicitly select through the Android system file picker.

Subtiq does not request broad access to your device storage.

4. Internet Access

The current version of Subtiq does not require an Internet connection and does not use Internet access to process subtitle files.

5. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising

The current version of Subtiq does not use:

• Advertising SDKs

• Analytics services

• Tracking services

• Crash-reporting services that transmit user information

• Third-party data collection services

No user information is shared with advertisers or analytics providers.

6. Data Storage

Subtiq does not maintain a remote database containing user information.

Files created or modified by the app are saved only to locations selected by the user on their device.

The user remains in control of those files.

7. Data Sharing

Subtiq does not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with third parties because the app does not collect personal information.

8. Children's Privacy

Subtiq does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

Because the app does not collect personal information, no personal data belonging to children is stored or transmitted by Subtiq.

9. Security

Because subtitle processing occurs locally on the user's device and files are not uploaded to external servers, Subtiq minimizes the amount of data exposed to external systems.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own device and files.

10. Future Features

Subtiq may introduce additional features in future versions.

If a future version introduces features such as online services, advertising, analytics, cloud processing, or other functionality that involves data collection or transmission, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

Any required permissions and disclosures will also be updated before those features are released.
