Subsy is designed with your privacy in mind. We minimize the data we collect.
Local Data Storage: All your financial data, subscription details, categories, and budgets are stored locally on your device using an internal database (SQLite). We do not upload your financial data to our servers.
Biometric Data: If you enable App Lock (Fingerprint/FaceID), the authentication happens entirely locally on your device via the operating system's secure biometric API. We do not collect, access, or store your biometric data.
Purchase Information: If you upgrade to Subsy Pro, payments are processed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your credit card or payment details.
We use trusted third-party services to ensure the app functions properly:
App Stores (Google Play / Apple App Store): Used to securely process in-app purchases and manage subscriptions.
(Optional: Add Google Analytics or AdMob here if you plan to use them in the future)
Because your data is stored locally, we do not use your financial data for tracking, advertising, or profiling. The data remains yours and stays on your device unless you manually export a PDF or Backup file.
We take data security seriously. While we rely on your device's built-in security (like screen locks and encryption) to protect the local database, please remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
