To apply under the scheme, the farmer must have 0.5 hectares (2 bighas) of irrigated agricultural land. A target of grant has been set on 125 km under NMOOP, 160 km under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna, 105 km under National Food Security Mission.
