Thin film growth: Hands-on experience in combinatorial thin film growth using magnetron sputtering technique (RF/DC) and MBE.
Preparation of flexible thermoelectric Spark Plasma Sintering technique and hot rolling.
Arc melting: Skilled in operating an arc melting furnace for the preparation of alloys in bulk form.
Devices fabrication: Hands-on experience handling lithography for pattern Hall-bar geometrics using standard optical lithography and Ar-ion milling for anisotropy magnetoresistance (AMR), anomalous Hall effect measurements (AHE), and anomalous Nernst effect measurements (ANE). Experience in FIB techniques to prepared sample for TEM analysis.
Structural characterization: Hands-on experience in XRD, FESEM, EPMA, FETEM, studies. Working experience in scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Experiences in analysis of anomalous XRD data for determination of the atomic disorder in the alloy.
·Electrical characterization: Hands-on experience in electrical measurements of four-terminal devices using Keithley source meters, electrical resistivity and Seebeck coefficient measurement for thin film using a commercial electrical resistance/Seebeck coefficient measurement system (ADVANCE RIKO, ZEM-3), and micro-prober. AHE and ANE using home mode magnetic arrangement. Anomalous Ettinghausen effect measurement (AEE) using Lock-in thermography (LIT) technique.
Magnetic characterization: Experienced in operating the LakhShore Model VSM for high-precision magnetic measurements, Physical Properties Measurement System (PPMS). Familiar with using PPMS for a wide range of physical property measurements such as Resistivity, AMR, MR, AHE etc.
Elemental composition: Working experience in X-ray fluorescence (XRF), and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS).
High-Precision Equipment Handling: Proficient in operating high-precision scientific equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance of vacuum and electronic systems.
Data Analysis and Simulation: Skilled in data analysis using Origin software and proficient in the use of Crystallography software (FullProf, CaRIne) for crystallographic analysis. AEE data analysis using python.
Theoretical Calculations: Competent in performing theoretical calculations using VASP (Vienna Ab Initio Simulation Package) for electronic structure and material properties predictions.
