Welcome to my page
The main goal of our research is to recreate the primordial state of visible matter in the Early Universe by colliding heavy-ions at ultra-relativistic speed.
We try to understand the production and dynamics of a strongly interacting matter called quark gluon plasma (QGP) created in heavy-ion collisions. I did my PhD from NISER, Bhubaneswar with ALICE Experiment at CERN. I did my postdoctoral research from Kent State University with STAR Experiment at RHIC-BNL. Currently, I am a scientist at the Institute of Modern Physics CAS, Huizhou branch, China.

Our latest research on high-precision charge-dependent directed flow of light-quark hadrons reveals evidence of the strongest possible pulse of an electromagnetic field (~1018 Gauss) in a laboratory setting during heavy-ion collisions in STAR@RHIC. It is published in Phys. Rev. X. Such a strong magnetic field can exist in the core of a neutron star. Our article is featured in Brookhaven National Lab newsroom and in APS Phys.
Our recent work on vector meson (φ and K*) spin alignment in STAR@RHIC is published in Nature. Surprisingly large magnitude of φ's spin alignment can't be explained by conversional theories and it requires a role of strong force field to create such large signal. Our findings are featured in Scientific American, Brookhaven National Lab newsroom, and highlighted by DOE Office of Science. A Viewpoint from Prof. Xin-Nian Wang (LBNL).
My postdoc work on first observation of φ meson and D meson directed flow in STAR@RHIC is published in Phys Rev Lett. An unexpected large magnitude of directed flow in D-mesons was attributed to the effect from initial geometry of the medium. The investigation of charge-dependent heavy-quark D-meson flow can be marked as the first attempt to explore the ultra-strong initial magnetic field using early produced charm quarks.
My PhD Work on K* resonance in ALICE@LHC was featured in CERN Courier, 300+ inspire citation. The results have shown the presence of late stage hadronic interactions at LHC energies.
