Brief Bio

I work at the Business School, University of Eastern Finland (UEF), as an Academy of Finland Postdoctoral Fellow and Principal Investigator, Project MILESTONE (Making Circular Economy Socially Inclusive through Entrepreneurship), funded by the Academy of Finland.

I have a keen research interest on the agency of entrepreneurship in advancing social and environmental sustainability. What intrigues me is the capacity of entrepreneurial and societal actors to engage in sustainability transition and the innovative processes through which they change societal structures and institutions. The empirical settings in my research include innovation management and practices addressing wicked problems in the global south and north with renewable energy, food loss prevention, and circular economy solutions.

I have over ten years of experience in academics. I have developed and taught courses on entrepreneurship, responsible and sustainable business, strategic management, and qualitative research methods.
