Hi, I am Subhabrata Samajder. I am a researcher working in the area of Cryptography. In particular, I work on Lattices-based cryptography and Symmetric-key Cryptanalysis. I am an Assistant Professor at the IAI center of TCG-CREST, Kolkata and an Adjunct Professor of the Department of Computer Science (CSE) at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Delhi. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor at the Department of CSE at IIIT, Delhi from August, 2019 to June, 2023. Before joining IIIT, Delhi I was a Lecturer-cum-post-doctoral fellow at the R. C. Bose Center for Cryptology and Security, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. From August, 2015 to July, 2018 I was a Visiting Scientist at the Turing Lab, Applied Statistics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Since July 2016, I have also been working as a Guest Lecturer at the Mathematics Department of Presidency University, Kolkata.

Earlier I did my Bachelor of Science (with Honours) in Mathematics from Presidency College, Kolkata (then affiliated under Calcutta University, Kolkata). I then completed my Master of Science in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Thereafter I finished my Master of Technology (with Honours) in Computer Science form Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. I completed my PhD in Computer Science from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata under the supervision of Professor Palash Sarkar.
