Currently I work on a project of the role that human subjective experience plays in the creation of reality shaped by science, culture and religion. Drawing on psychological research, I aim to show that in spite of all the efforts of sciences to present the origins of life, consciousness and subjective experience as a result of the impersonal objective 'evolution', the results of these efforts bear the imperishable 'birthmark' of the scientists’ subjective personal world. I introduce a new concept – the Bubble Universe - to describe the universe as it looks from a subjective personal viewpoint of an individual. This universe appears with a person and disappears when the person dies. In many respects this psychological universe differs from the universe described by science, culture and religion, and this project aims to present and analyze these differences. I hope to present the results of this project in my new book "The Bubble Universe: Psychological Perspectives on Reality", which is due to appear in 2020 or 2021 with Palgrave Macmillan.
