Subashini Chathumini Jayasiri received the Ph.D. (Mycology) from Mae Fah Lunag University (MFU), Thailand, and the Bachelor of Science (special in Botany) degree from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, in 2013. Before joining MFU, she was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Kelaniya, department of Botany in 2013. In 2016 she was a visiting researcher at Guizhou University, China, and in 2018 World Agroforestry Centre, Kunming Institute of Botany, China.
