Call for Papers and Extended Abstracts
We invite Full Paper and Extended Abstract submissions of original research contributions in scene graphs and graph representation learning, such as (but not limited to):
Holistic Scene Understanding: Examining the fundamental challenges and recent advancements in interpreting complex visual environments beyond human-centric analysis
Human Modeling for Scene Understanding: Exploring advanced techniques for 3D human body modeling, motion analysis, and the integration of physical principles to enhance scene interpretation
Action Recognition: Investigating how detailed human models and contextual scene information contribute to more accurate and nuanced action recognition
Scene Graph Prediction and Integration with Human Modeling: Analyzing methods for automatically generating scene graphs and how incorporating human-centric information can improve their accuracy and informativeness
Temporal Scene Understanding: Exploring techniques for analyzing the temporal evolution of scenes and how human actions contribute to the events
Foundation Models for Integrated Human and Scene Understanding: Analyzing the capabilities of large-scale models designed to jointly reason about human behavior and the surrounding environment
Applications in Specialized Domains: Exploring the practical implications of integrated human modeling and scene understanding in areas such as robotics and medical image analysis
New datasets modelling the environment, humans, and their interactions
All submissions will be handled electronically via the workshop's CMT Website. By submitting a paper, the authors agree to the policies stipulated on this website and the BMVC 2025 Submission Policies. The paper and supplementary submission deadline is TBA.
Extended Abstracts: We invite submission of 2-4 pages extended abstracts. Accepted extended abstracts will not appear in the conference proceedings but will be presented in the workshop in the form of spotlight presentations.
Papers: Papers must follow the same format as the Main Track. Guidelines can be found here: https://bmvc2025.bmva.org/authors/submit-your-paper/
The accepted full-paper submissions will appear in the BMVC workshops proceedings.
Papers that are not properly anonymized, or do not use the template, or have more than eight pages (excluding references) will be considered for rejection without review.
