StudyRoute ("the App") is developed and published by Dhairya Thakkar ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared when you use StudyRoute.
StudyRoute is a study management application that helps users:
Track study sessions using timers
Monitor progress through annual and exam-specific syllabi
Generate study roadmaps and schedules
Analyze study habits and productivity
To use certain features of StudyRoute, users are required to provide:

Academic class or grade
Educational board
Academic stream
This information may be transmitted to and processed through Firebase Analytics to help us understand how different groups of users interact with the App and to improve the user experience.
StudyRoute uses Firebase Analytics to collect information about how the App is used. This may include:
Device model
Device operating system
App version
Feature usage statistics
Screen views
Session duration
App interactions
Crash and diagnostic information
General analytics events
Device Identifiers: To monitor application health, track performance metrics, and support core app functionality, the App utilizes system-level identifiers, specifically the Google Advertising ID (AD_ID). This identifier is used exclusively for non-marketing purposes, such as diagnosing application bugs and optimizing analytics events. We do not use this identifier to serve advertisements, track users across third-party apps, or build commercial marketing profiles. Users can manage or reset this identifier at any time via their native Android device settings.
Study-related data created and managed by users within the App is primarily stored on the user's device unless otherwise specified by a feature.
StudyRoute may request Accessibility Service permission to support study tracking and productivity features. When a study timer is active, the Accessibility Service may detect the name of the application currently in the foreground. This information is used solely to:
Track study activity during active study sessions
Generate productivity statistics and insights
Support study-management features within the App
StudyRoute does not use Accessibility Services to read personal messages, passwords, typed text, or other sensitive content. Information obtained through Accessibility Services is not sold, shared, or used for advertising purposes. Accessibility permissions are only used for the features described above.
StudyRoute may request notification permission to:
Send study reminders
Notify users about active study sessions
Display timer-related information
Provide productivity and schedule alerts
Notifications are used solely to support the App's study-management features.
We may use collected information to:
Improve App performance and reliability
Understand how users interact with the App
Analyze feature usage and popularity

We do not sell or rent user information.
Information collected through Firebase Analytics and associated device identifiers may be processed by Google in accordance with its services and privacy practices.
We do not share personal information or device identifiers with third-party advertisers for advertising purposes.
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
StudyRoute is intended for students and learners of all ages. While the App may be used by children under the age of 13, it is not specifically directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable laws. If you believe that personal information has been collected from a child inappropriately, please contact us.
